Meeting in Bonn: The Huber Family and Dr. Nimer Khraim
Right off the start the atmosphere was friendly, almost familial, when Professor Huber's widow Marinanne and his son Markus met the first ever fellow of the Max G. Huber Scholarship.
The meeting took place at the Universitätsclub Bonn, which Professor Huber not only co-founded but also chaired for quite some years.
Dr. Nimer Khraim is veterinary and assistant professor at the An-Najah University in Palestine. In summer of 2018 he conducts a science project at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover.
During an intense and lively conversation the Hubers on one hand had the chance to learn about Nimer Khraim's previous acadmic career as well as his future plans in his home country. On the other hand the fellow found out first hand about the man his scholarship was named after.
